Characteristics

• Brilliance iCT SP installed at DIRAMS has reduced error caused by movement of body or organs by having doughnut shaped gantry that passes the patient at the time of CT examination rotated with an epoch-making speed of 0.27 seconds per one rotation.
• Additionally, by shortening screening time through reducing the time of having to stop breathing by the patient, patient's convenience for screening has been improved.
• Human internal tissues and heart movement could be observed through clear 3-dimensional image and even transformation of human bodily tissue depending on time could be observed as well. In case of heart, in particular, total image of heart is implemented by high resolution and in addition to this, accuracy of all the other examination for head/neck, vascular, abdomen, pelvis and whole body was made to be improved
• By removing unnecessary radiation exposure in terms of its safety, radiation exposure has been reduced up to max. 80%, compared with the existing system.

Equipment Description

As CT is superior in its function of reproduction for bodily cross section, transformed degree of normal anatomic structure of human body could be determined comparatively easy and correctly by this CT and whole body examination is enabled.
