MRI
Characteristics
Magnetic strength is expressed in T(tesla) and in general, as the magnetic field's strength is bigger, more precise image could be obtained. At present, magnetic strength of MRI that is allowed to be used clinically under the permission of US FDA is in the range of 0.15T-3T and magnetic strength of MRI introduced to DIRAMS is 3T using the biggest magnetic field. 3T class MRI that supports more higher resolution enables taking-pictures of small tumor and cerebral structure.
Equipment Description
PMRI is a noninvasive diagnostic examination method that examines skeleton and articulation after having the patient laid in magnetic field. As an examination method that could obtain tomography of any desired part of living organs by using magnetic field generated by magnetic strength, this MRI is useful for observing physiological phenomenon and various metabolism of human internals by using high frequency of hydrogen atomic nucleus but not harmful to humans.
Applied target
head/neck examination, spinal cord and nerve system, musculoskeletal system disease, thoraco abdomen, pelvic cavity examination
