Rehabilitation Medicine restores function impaired by injury or disease and supports healthy reintegration into home and society. Beyond medical treatment, it integrates physical, psychological, and social aspects, prioritizing post-illness quality of life. Our department aims not only for “Function Recovery” but for “Life Recovery,” based on rich clinical experience and specialized systems. A multidisciplinary team—physiatrists, physical/occupational/speech therapists, dedicated nurses—performs precise assessment and individualized planning, maximizing recovery potential regardless of disease or age through collaborative care. We focus on three specialties:
* Central Nervous System Rehabilitation: intensive rehab for stroke, traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury
* Cancer & Lymphedema Rehabilitation: evidence-based evaluation and standard care for lymphedema after cancer surgery/radiation; management of complications during cancer treatment
* Pediatric Rehabilitation: early diagnosis and comprehensive rehab for developmental delay, cerebral palsy, neuromuscular and genetic disorders; specialized clinics for infant postural/skull deformities (torticollis, plagiocephaly), pediatric foot and gait abnormalities, with early correction and growth-stage customization
Grounded in scientific evidence and compassionate philosophy, we pursue both “function” and “life” recovery.
