PET/CT & Gamma Camera Interpretation, Radionuclide Therapy, Bone Densitometry Interpretation

DIRAMS Nuclear Medicine began clinical services on July 16, 2010, with the institute’s opening as a research-centered hospital leading radiation medicine and specialized cancer treatment. We operate two PET/CT and two SPECT units, performing ~8,000 imaging studies annually, and three isolation therapy rooms for ~200 radionuclide therapies per year. We lead in radiopharmaceutical new drug development, diagnostic performance research, and clinical trials and application of radiopharmaceutical therapies. In 2024, with the opening of the DIRAMS Radiopharmaceutical GMP Manufacturing Facility, we began PSMA-PET imaging and therapy for prostate cancer—the first outside the Seoul metropolitan area—and DOTATOC-PET imaging and therapy for neuroendocrine tumors—the first in the Busan–Gyeongnam region. We will continue pioneering radiopharmaceutical research and clinical care in conjunction with the nearby Radiation Medical Science Industrial Complex, including a new export-oriented research reactor and a carbon ion therapy center, collaborating with local universities, industry, research institutes, and hospitals.
