Leveraging advanced radiation-related medical technology, our Gastroenterology Department delivers multidisciplinary, personalized care—endoscopic therapy, surgical collaboration, systemic therapy, and radiation—for all GI cancers, including gastric, colorectal, esophageal, hepatic, and pancreatobiliary malignancies, achieving top-tier outcomes. Beyond general screening endoscopy, we perform curative endoscopic submucosal dissection (ESD) for endoscopically treatable early GI cancers (esophagus, stomach, colon). For cholangiocarcinoma and pancreatic cancer, we achieve strong results using therapeutic ERCP and EUS-guided diagnostics and interventions. In hepatology, we intensively treat acute/chronic liver disease and cirrhosis complications, performing therapeutic endoscopy such as esophageal variceal ligation and gastric variceal sclerotherapy. For liver cancer, we select optimal strategies—surgery, radiofrequency ablation, percutaneous ethanol injection, transarterial chemoembolization (TACE), intra-arterial chemotherapy, drug-eluting bead TACE, radiation therapy—tailored to each patient. Using the latest equipment such as EUS, we provide timely, patient-centered care in collaboration with other departments.
